Treatment Definitions

Swedish Massage: Relaxation massages promoting overall good health; light to moderate touch.
Deep/Sports Massage: Corrective soft tissue treatment specific to injury and/or stressed muscles.
Therapeutic Massage: Combination of relaxation massage and techniques that address one area needing special attention.
Reflexalogy* or Hands/Feet Massage: Stimulating massage on hands or feet that benefits the whole body.
European Stone Massage: Massage using hot and/or cold stones. Hot stones relax soft tissue. Cold ones reduce inflammation.
Pregancy Massage: Pampering the mother and baby; promoting prenatal health and overall well being.
Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD)*: Flushing out the waste by stimulating the lymph flow and aiding in detoxifying body fluid.  
Myofascial Release (MFR)/Unwinding: MFR* is a mixture of manual manipulations and stretching of the fascia. Unwinding* is another massage technique used to undue adhered and twisted tissue.
Aromatherapy: Essential oils absorb into the skin's pores during massage, enhancing emotional and physical well being.
Honey Facial: Cleansing, toning, moisturizing, revitalizing.
Herbal Wrap: Aids in detoxifying, firming skin, and stimulating circulations.
Salt Scrub/Body Polish: Stimulating and exfoliating skin treatment.

*Treatments that can only be provided by certain well-trained therapists on our staff. Please inquire as soon as possible.

Massage Time begins at agreed appointment time and includes the review of the written health history (which each client is requested to fill out prior to her/his scheduled appointment).

Cancellations & No Shows: Fees for cancellations made less than 24 hrs prior to appointment & No Shows will be assessed at the rate of the appointment missed.

Price Adjustment: Gift Certificates and Special Packages not used within a year may include an additional fee at the discretion of the therapist, if prices have increased.
