Easter Weekend Egg Hunt at King’s Creek Plantation

If you’re staying at King’s Creek Plantation this Easter weekend, you’re in luck! We are having our second annual 10,000 Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza with prize drawings on Saturday, March 31! The egg hunt begins promptly at noon this Saturday, but you can sign up at the front desk any time between Thursday, March 29 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday the 31st.

Here’s everything you need to know about Saturday’s festivities!

9 – 11:45 a.m. – Sign In
Children who wish to participate in the 10,000-Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza may sign in at the front desk. Bunny “Eggsperts” will be there to sign in your child according to his or her appropriate age group! Little ones may also participate in the super fun Jelly Bean and Starburst Count Guessing Game (one guess per child), and parents can sign up for the drawing that will yield big prizes after the egg hunt! Just fill out a drawing ticket while your children are signing in if you’d like to participate.

12 p.m. – 10,000 Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza Begins

Meet at the base of the Easter Bunny Headquarters! Children will be divided into appropriate age groups and sent off to their hunting areas with their Bunny Eggsperts. (Look out for the special gold and silver Easter eggs—those earn you a special prize!)

Hippity Hopsters (0-4 years) will hunt behind the Clubhouse playground with their parents, Chirping Chickadees (5-8 years) will hunt in Petersburg Circle, and Daring Ducklings (9-12 years) will hunt around Turtle Trace. If you didn’t bring a basket to collect your eggs, no worries! We’ll be handing out bags that work just as well.

12:15 – 12:30 p.m. – Photos with the Easter Bunny

Don’t forget to bring you cameras! The Easter Bunny will be hopping around during the Egg Hunt event for photo ops! Make sure you keep a lookout; you never know when he’ll hop by!

12:30 p.m. – Winners Are Announced

Winners will be announced for the Jelly Bean and Starburst Count Guessing Game. We’ll also be announcing winners who found those special gold and silver eggs!

At King’s Creek, we like to be kind to the environment and reuse whenever possible! Be sure to empty out the goodies from your eggs into your bags or baskets so that Eggsperts can collect your plastic eggshells to use again next year!
