Four Fun Ways to Do New Year’s Eve

We hope you had a wonderful time with your family this holiday season, but it’s not over yet—December 31 is coming up fast! What better way to celebrate the last day of the year than with a magical night in Williamsburg?

Here are four unique ways you can ring in the New Year with friends and loved ones.

Stellar Noon Year’s Eve
Virginia Living Museum
11 am – 1 pm

The Virginia Living Museum is one of the state’s best treasures. This super kid-friendly learning zone is hosting a space adventure-themed “Noon” Year’s Eve party, where you’re welcome to come dressed as characters from your favorite galactic movies (think Guardians of the GalaxyStar Wars and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy) and meet characters from your favorite interstellar adventures. There will be plenty of themed activities to delight and amuse! Cost for this event is included in museum admission.

Christmas Town
Busch Gardens

This is your last chance to see eight million twinkling lights and magical seasonal shows! There is nothing quite like the warm glow of Christmas Town, and with the rides, dining experiences, light displays and holiday shows, you won’t regret spending your New Year’s Eve here. If you’d like the night planned for you, check out the best of Christmas Town and buy your tickets here.

New Year’s Eve Oyster Roast Fest
Billsburg Brewery
4 pm – 1 am

Billsburg Brewery, one of the stops on the Williamsburg Tasting Trail, is hosting its first-ever all-you-can-eat Oyster Roast featuring seaside salts roasted oysters. This will also be the first night the brewery releases its new B2 Oyster Stout called Paper Canoe as well as its brand new Bromance IPA. You and your best pals can start a New Year’s Eve tradition with the brewery’s unique, small batch craft beer, delicious oysters, fireworks and live music with band Audio Portrait. Tickets are available online for $50.

New Year’s Eve Dinner
Café Provençal
5:30-9 p.m.

If you’re looking to ring in the New Year in fancier digs, Café Provençal is hosting a very special dinner, complete with three courses and an extensive wine and beverage list.
