Celebrating Easter at King’s Creek

Our annual 8,000-egg Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza is one of our most exciting and celebrated events!

You can sign up for this event at our Aquatic Center Lobby on Friday, April 19 or Saturday, April 20. This super fun family Easter activity will take place at the King’s Creek Plantation resort on Saturday, April 20 from 12-3 p.m.

If you’re staying at King’s Creek this month, here’s what you can expect on this beautiful family weekend!

Schedule and Guidelines

9 – 11:45 a.m. – Sign In

Children that want to participate in the 8,000-Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza may sign in at the Aquatic Center Lobby. Easter “Eggsperts” will be there to assist! Little ones may also participate in the super fun Jelly Bean Count Guessing Game, and parents can sign up for the drawing that will yield big prizes after the egg hunt!

12 p.m. – 8,000 Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza Begins

Meet at the base of the Easter Bunny Headquarters! Children will be divided into appropriate age groups and sent off to their hunting areas with their Eggsperts. (Look out for the special gold and silver Easter eggs—those earn you a special prize!)

Hippity Hopsters (0-4 years) will hunt behind the Clubhouse playground with their parents, Chirping Chickadees (5-8 years) will hunt in Petersburg Circle, and Daring Ducklings (9-12 years) will hunt around Turtle Trace. If you didn’t bring a basket to collect your eggs, we’ll be handing out bags for egg collecting!

12:30 p.m. – Winners Are Announced

Winners will be announced for the Jelly Bean Count Guessing Game. We’ll also be announcing winners who found those special gold and silver eggs!

In the interest of going green, don’t forget to empty out the goodies from your eggs into your bags or baskets so that Eggsperts can collect your plastic egg shells!

1-2 p.m. – Photos with the Easter Bunny

Parents, make sure you bring your cameras! The Easter Bunny will be hopping around during the Egg Hunt event for photo ops. Make sure you keep a lookout; you never know when he’ll hop by!

2-3 p.m. Easter Crafts

Finish out the day by gathering inside or outside for a hands-on crafting activities! The “spring chick” craft will be in the arts and crafts room. Easter magnet will be made in the common area of the activities department.

Outside, kids can create and go home with a cute Easter hats and plenty of wonderful memories to carry with them forever!
