Howl-O-Scream is Back & Scarier Than Ever!

Starting September 10, Howl-O-Scream is back & scarier than ever! This haunted festival will take over Busch Gardens on select nights, transforming the park into a terrifying experience with terrors hiding in every shadow. Your courage will be tested this year with three new haunted houses, two new terror-tories and two new shows!

A note to parents: This year’s event contains amplified scares that are not recommended for children, so when the clock strikes 6, it is recommended that only Howl-O-Scream’s biggest fans remain in the park.

3 New Haunted Houses

Witch of the Woods

This haunted house is based on the tale of the old Witch of the Woods, who descended upon an ancient village and wreaked havoc. No one who has encountered her has lived to talk about it, but if you’re brave enough to travel the woods at night, you’ll hear her chanting and crying out to the skies. Those who give in to her control become her disciples, and those who don’t…inevitably meet a terrible fate!

Killarney Diner

This 50s diner-themed haunted house will kill your appetite…probably by making you the next meal.

Nevermore

Inspired by the works of Edgar Allan Poe, this haunted house is sure to be a scream. Welcome to the gothic nightmare of Prospero, last heir to the House of Usher. Come see if you can withstand the agony of demons, ghosts and plagues!

2 New Terror-Tories

Hexed Hollow (Rhinefeld Village)

This village, and all who travel through it, are cursed by an ancient magic. Dark magics flow freely in the Hollow, and nothing is ever going to be the same.

Meat Market (New France VIllage)

Fresh meat! The denizens of this devious dwelling are serving up delectable delicatessen and gorging on human hors d’oeuvres.

Sinister Shows & Eerie Experiences

Don’t miss four spirited productions that are said to be “worth dying for.” Guests can enjoy showtimes throughout the day in indoor theatres and in Ireland village.

NEW SHOWS

Phantoms of the Festhaus

This isn’t your typical singing contest. Join the living audience as your favorite ghouls take on spooky hits, and the winner is put to vote. The more spirited the audience is, the more exciting the competition is.

Skeletones

These lively musicians and singers leave nothing but bones on Il Teatro di San Marco located in San Marco, Italy. Take a break from the scares with this spooky ensemble.

Head over to a Party Zone for a Halloween party full of dancing and music. In France, revel with the bourgeoisie like it’s 1793! Then make your way to Festa Italia and party with the circus clowns!

For guests 21 and over, check out one of the four themed Booze Bars located throughout the park. After all, a little liquid courage couldn’t hurt before a turn in a haunted house.

In addition to all of this, guests can still enjoy rides, coasters, Halloween shopping, and Howl-O-Scream tours at the park. Click here for killer deals on tickets.
