Restaurant Week!

Restaurant Week in Williamsburg is upon us! Foodies rejoice! For the next week, participating restaurants will offer specially priced, multi-course menus to patrons who are hungry for gustatory adventure.

Whether you’re joining these restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you certainly won’t have a shortage of options. Experience the most exciting culinary week of the year at restaurants throughout the Historic Triangle. Here are some of our top picks:

Baker’s Crust Artisan Kitchen

We highly recommend paying a visit to Baker’s Crust if you’re looking for a homemade, high quality breakfast, brunch or lunch. (Tip: The hearth-baked, European-style artisan breads take dining to a new level!) If you get excited by an extra thoughtful and diverse breakfast menu, you simply can’t skip theirs.

 Blue Talon Bistro

Facebook fans dutifully post regular rave reviews to Blue Talon’s page, saying things like, “So different, so brilliant…” and “We will be back again and again.” Here’s a sample of the dishes you can expect: a raclette, tomato and goat cheese tart and a praline cream-filled French pastry over a pool of caramel and toped with red wine sorbet. Mmm.

 The Trellis Bar & Grill

Located in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg, this restaurant has it all—ambience, exceptional service and an exciting menu. Guests love the garden-inspired atmosphere and seasonal menu containing local, responsibly raised products used in mouth-watering combinations!

The Cheese Shop

Ah, cheese. Is there anything more alluring than a wheel of good cheese? The Cheese Shop in Merchants Square has been in business for over 40 years and has received critical acclaim from the likes of the New York Times and Newsweek. Between their cheese and charcuterie, sandwiches, specialty food items and wine and beer collection, your taste buds are in for a rare and glorious treat when you’re at The Cheese Shop.

Opus 9 Steakhouse
We’ve touted this restaurant before, and for good reason. Seafood nachos, lamb lollipops, lobster scampi, and bourbon pecan Brie (with a crispy baguette!) are just a few of the staples guests go crazy for here. Perhaps one patron summarizes it best when she says, “Both my daughter and her fiancé are chefs and both have high praises on the food that we’ve ordered. No small feat!”

Le Yaca

Simply put, book a reservation here if you want to experience the best authentic French food around. Le Yaca doesn’t cut corners on service, presentation or deliciousness. The chef has posted the dinner menu for Restaurant Week, so feast your eyes on your options—and then feast for real!

These are just a handful of the incredible restaurants participating in Restaurant Week through January 31! King’s Creek Plantation is always searching for the latest and greatest so guests can encounter the crème de la crème in food, shopping and fun activities. Be sure to come back to the blog to learn about the next big Williamsburg to-do!
