Williamsburg Restaurant Week

Restaurant Week in Williamsburg this year is from January 21-31, and if you’re visiting King’s Creek Plantation from out of town, we wanted to give you the low-down on a few of the best places to experience tasty meals at every price point!

Consider this your Restaurant Week guide!

Affordable $

The Cheese Shop

Few foods evoke as much joy as cheese, so it’s no surprise that The Cheese Shop in Merchants Square has been in business for decades. Even The New York Times and Newsweek can’t help but sing their praises. Between their cheese and charcuterie, sandwiches, specialty food items and wine and beer collection, it’s impossible to walk away from The Cheese Shop unsatisfied.

Culture Café

The Culture Café illustrates perfectly why Williamsburg takes dining seriously. This restaurant offers a completely unique eating experience by serving small plates that bring flavors from all different cultures to the table. Try the Culture Café if you want to give your palette a pleasant surprise!

Baker’s Crust

This one is a real treat! Every item on the Baker’s Crust menu is homemade, including hearth-baked, European-style artisan breads. Stop by for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner if you can’t resist a thoughtful, healthy menu that is simply delicious.

DoG Street Pub

Once an historic bank, this reinvented gastro pub sits on one of the most historic streets in America—Duke of Gloucester (DoG). Pair the perfect craft beer with plates like fried green tomatoes, steamed mussels or one of their custom burgers (try the mouthwatering Brat Burger—a hand-formed ground bacon and veal patty with Swiss cheese, caramelized onions and pub sauce).

Food For Thought

Food for Thought has mastered the art of pairing great conversation with tasty meals. In the restaurant’s décor, find conversation starters like bios, pictures, and quotes from the world’s great thinkers. Open for breakfast and lunch, this menu is surprisingly diverse and delightfully creative. Check it out here!

High-End $$$

Fat Canary

Located in the heart of Merchants Square, the Fat Canary features upscale, award-winning cuisine that caters to true lovers of food, not just tourists. If you’re looking for an intimate setting to indulge in an unforgettable meal, the Fat Canary is an essential stop due to its innovative menu items.

Le Yaca

This gem of a restaurant is très magnifique! Le Yaca doesn’t cut corners on service, presentation or the joy of your taste buds. For a preview of French food heaven, check out what the chef is serving for dinner during Restaurant Week!

Waypoint Seafood & Grille

This restaurant doesn’t just provide top-notch food—it gives guests an experience they don’t soon forget (check out these 5-star reviews!). Between the wine, the menu, and the service staff, visitors sum up a dining experience here as being “a privilege.” Wow!

Happy eating, everyone!
