LOVE Your Stay at Kings Creek

With love in the air this February, there’s even more to relish during your stay in Williamsburg. Whether you’re looking for things to do around town, or you’re craving a relaxing stay at a luxurious resort, King’s Creek Plantation has you covered.

Here are a few reasons a Williamsburg winter getaway should be in your future:

1. Opera in Williamsburg

The Opera in Williamsburg and the Opera Piccola of Israel are presenting “The Diary of Anne Frank.” This fully staged, one-hour opera is open to the public, and thanks to funding by the Williamsburg Community Foundation, it’s FREE! Seats will be reserved until 7:15 p.m. and after that will be available on a first-come, first-seated basis.

Russian Composer, Grigory Frid, selected text from the diary of 13-years-old Anne Frank to create the music and libretto. Capturing the things she saw, her different moods and her real-time emotions, this is a moving performance that you do not want to miss! Reserve your seat here.

2. Liberty’s Ice Pavilion

Enjoy one of the most beloved winter activities, ice-skating in Colonial Williamsburg. Take your family out for some fun on the ice, practice your spins and turns—and try your best not to fall!

Afterwards, warm up with some American Hertiage hot chocolate or Chowning’s hot cider while listening to the musical performances from local and area choirs and music ensembles. Brave the cold and make the most of this winter season!

3. Games galore

If food, drink and friendly competition are in your wheelhouse, we have the perfect ideas for your stay in Williamsburg.

Bingo Night

Visit Alewerks Satellite Taproom for bingo and beer. Bingo will be played from 6 – 7:30 p.m. and is free for all ages, so play and win prizes with the whole family!
