Have you started the Christmas countdown? King’s Creek sure has. We love getting ready for the peak of the holiday season, when hot chocolate is the drink of choice and everyone is feeling extra grateful for great family and friends.

If you haven’t yet experienced Christmas Town at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia, then today is quite possibly your luckiest day—at least when it comes to holiday discoveries.

If you have experienced Christmas Town, then you know it’s the most glowing (literally!), heartwarming, magical Christmas event of the year—anywhere! Over 8 million twinkling Christmas lights on display make this the largest light display in North America, and food, rides, shopping and incredible holiday-themed entertainment make it a sacrosanct Christmas tradition.

Here’s a rundown of what there is to do at Christmas Town at Busch Gardens, which is open from November 25, 2016 – January 2, 2017.

Food and Drink

For the best in holiday-themed dining, pay a visit to the (Busch Garden) world’s most festive restaurants.

Feast on favorites like fish & chips, double bacon cheeseburgers or a surf & turf burger. Finish it all off with a hand-made dessert!

Want to escape the winter chill? This spot features hot soups and hand-carved turkey sandwiches, all served with a hearty helping of Christmas cheer.

This dining destination is extra cozy, nestled in New France’s evergreen forest among quaint cabins and rustic antiquities. Sample from hand-carved smoked turkey, ham or brisket dinners—and there are choices for kids, too!

DAS FESTHAUS (Oktoberfest)

At Das Festhaus, they really know how to go all out. Feast your eyes on Christmas garlands, your ears on beloved Christmas carols, and your taste buds on a roasted sirloin sandwich or a traditional turkey dinner.

If you love traditional Italian cuisine, then you will love Marco Polo’s Marketplace. This restaurant is styled after an Italian market, with options like pizza cooked in a hearthstone oven and cannolis bursting with sweetness.

DASHER’S DINER (Holiday Hills)

As the name implies, this is where your favorite North Pole locals like to eat. Enjoy hearty options for the whole family, like pizza, pasta and countless tasty buffet items.

Have a shopping list hanging over your head? Why not get some shopping done in Ireland’s Emerald Isle Gifts? Or France’s La Belle Maison? If you have Scottish heritage, then Scotland’s Tweedside Gifts offers a wide array of exquisite leather goods, and England’s Felt and Feather provides customized stockings that display your family heritage. Find handmade glass Jewelry in Italy’s Bella Casa, and authentic beer steins and Bavarian clocks in German Gifts (located in Germany, if you couldn’t guess!).
