Count Down to the New Year in Williamsburg!

If you’re in Williamsburg this New Year’s Eve, you’ll only have one problem: You’ll have to choose between a ton of amazing things to do! Whether you’re single, in a couple, or part of a family, this list we put together has something for you.

Stellar Noon Year’s Eve
Perfect for: Families with children
Where:
Virginia Living Museum, Newport News, VA
When: December 31, 2018, 11am – 1pm

Have we mentioned how much we love this place? The Virginia Living Museum is a truly awesome opportunity to connect kids of all ages to the natural wonders of Virginia. With incredible exhibits that feature everything from animal sanctuaries to a list of shows played in a state-of-the-art planetarium theatre, there’s nothing like the VLM.

And on New Year’s Eve, it’s hosting a space adventure-themed celebration! Come meet your favorite Star Wars characters and enjoy space-themed, kid-perfect activities!

Hair of the DoG 5K

Perfect for: Everyone

Where: Duke of Gloucester Street, Merchants Square

When: Tuesday, January 1 @ 10am

If you’re like us, you might have a New Year’s resolution to put down your phone and be more in the moment. There’s no better way to feel present than to participate in the Hair of the DoG 5K! Choose from a competitive 5K race, a 5K walk, a fun and festive formalwear race (pajamas allowed), a weight challenge division and a Kids’ Fun Run. Besides making you feel all rosey and healthy, you’ll be helping a great cause, as a portion of the net proceeds raised will go to a local charity.

PG-500 New Year’s Eve Block Party

Perfect for: The over-21 crowd

Where: 525 Prince George St. Williamsburg, VA

Enjoy a complimentary (and essential) champagne toast at midnight!
